The high costs of printing can often be overlooked in an office. Ignoring these can mean your office is wasting money on unnecessary print jobs and supplies.  Learning how to control such costs can save your company a ton of money in the long run.

Here are some tips to save on your bottom line

  • It is important to set defaults on your machines to ensure that your office is not wasting supplies therefore wasting money. Most printers and copiers are defaulted to color.  Changing this to black and white can produce large decreases in costs.
  • Something else that you may want to consider is setting 2-sided printing as a default. Doing this allows large print jobs to utilize both sides of the paper.  This will save your paper and the planet, one page at a time!
